Flows out of Fife Brook Dam have been down to 135-400cfs providing some good wading and float conditions. Hendricksons, Quill Gordons, Tan Caddis and BWO have all been hatching and there been sporadic surface action for anglers on all or rivers. The lower part of the Deerfield River has still been high to really turn on and be accessible to the wade fisher. The Westfield River is at a great flow and fishable. Remember that Ireland St off of Rt143 is closed so you’ll have to follow the detour signs. The Millers River is still cranking along but coming down slowly as is the Swift River. Smaller rivers and streams are prime right now. We could see a quarter inch of rain or more on Friday and Monday. We’ll see what happens.
