The Swift River is running high at 120cfs and will continue to do so until we get a significant rain fall to fill the CT River back up. A cool down is underway along with some rain in the forecast which is needed to replenish the Westfield and Millers River. There is some great fishing to be had in the upcoming months. Orange Soft Hackle is a great fly to have this time of year and is one of my favorite flies to swing. Expect the streamer action to increase also.
