The fishing has been up and down with some really good days and then some slow days. Nymphing has been the most effective and stripping buggers is starting to become more productful. The lower Deerfield is becoming more active and may be worth starting to check out. The cooler temps have helped bring the water temp down to a more reasonable level for trout. There is currently a water release study going on  until Sunday so be sure to check the flow before heading out.
