I was at the Stillwater area after 4pm and witnessed many October Caddis and Tan Caddis in the air along with some Cahills and white Midges mixed in. I had two other anglers report the same hatches all through out the lower Deerfield and on the Millers River. The water temp has dropped fast. At 5pm the temp was 56-58 degrees. Reports of hold-overs  and fresh stockers have been caught in all the rivers and the action has really heated up. Streamers with a Type 3(3-4ips) sink tip has been working very well for me. Don’t pass up the fast water either.

Tom Saltis has been getting into some browns and sent these pics in this morning.
