Cooler night time temps are starting to bring water temperatures back down and the trout are becoming active again. Good conditions have been reported on the  Deerfield and Westfield rivers. There is a great white fly hatch in the evenings on the lower stretches of the Deerfield so make sure to have some sort of white dry fly with you. Visit Ken Elmer’s Blog http://millersriverflyfishingforum.blogspot.com/ for more info about the EB. The Millers River is still a bit warm but there are many small mouth bass to be caught and provide a feisty fight. The Swift continues to fish well with Cream/Olive Midges, Cinnamon/Black Flying Ants(16-18), Light Cahills, Pink/Red San Juan Worms. Orange Soft Hackles will be a great choice for the upcoming fall season.
