Pheasant Tail Nymphs have been fishing well as you can see from the nice brown Sam Keator landed below. Stripping Buggers  has also been getting more productful. Have a variety of the common colors. Olive is always a good color but brown has been working quite well this year. My father caught the nice bow pictured below stripping a brown bugger. Cover lots of water and try not to get cement boots. The fish may not be active in one run yet active in the next.

The day time temps have been pretty warm this week but it looks like we are in for some good temperatures over the next week. This will help cool the waters and the fish will become more active. Stocking should also take place over the next 2 weeks until Columbus Day. Water levels are pretty low with the exception of the releases. I’m sure we all know this by now but we need rain badly and lots of it!
