Cinnamon/Black Ants (16-18), Beetles and hoppers have been reported to be taking fish during the day. Especially around brushy areas. There are still some Sulphurs (16-20) around in the evening . Olives(20-26) are also doing well. Pheasant Tails(18-22), San Juans and the occasional Wooly Bugger have been the winners in the sub-surface category. Orange/Olive Soft Hackles, Serendipities and Zebra Midges are also good choices to have on hand.

Free single and two-handed casting workshop clinic on Saturday beginning at 12pm till 2pm. The Spey Doctor Walt Geryk will be here to work with you on all aspects of fly, switch and spey casting. Bring your equipment or use our Fenwick and Hardy rods. There will also be some Redington rods to try out like their new Hydrogen trout rod. Whether you’re new to fly fishing or need some advice on your current casting style stop on in for this free clinic. Casting will take place in the field behind the shop.
