All this for $995 per person! The camp is limited to eight anglers. Call the shop at 413-397-3665 or email [email protected] to register or for more information.
Friday, August 12th
Friday kicks off this 3-day event with a casting workshop led by Jim Dowd. Jim is a Federation of Flyfishers Certified Casting Instructor and a really great guy. He has helped many of us here at the shop develop our casts and his teaching skills are top notch. This workshop includes personalized instruction on fly casting through hands-on experience at a course set up on a big lawn. Jim will cover the different casts used for bass fishing and how to increase your accuracy at distance. Following our clinic, dinner can be enjoyed at the Inn or one of the many local spots nearby. Post dinner you can take your casting learnings to a casting challenge which can be enjoyed as a competitive game or just for fun.
Saturday, August 13th
Saturday consists of two fishing sessions, one in the morning and one in the evening. This is broken up so we are on the water for the best Largemouth action. The guides will meet you at the Inn and will be bringing breakfast sandwiches and coffee. We will spend the early morning on Largemouth water, where we will work on morning largemouth techniques through fishing for these solitary ambush hunters. We will stop mid-day for a siesta and lunch (provided). We all will reconvene post early-dinner, and spend the evening fishing to Largemouth through the Magic Hour and into the dark.
Sunday, August 14th
Sunday consists of a full day Smallmouth float on one of our local rivers. Again the guides will show up with breakfast sandwiches and we will caravan to different stretches of Smallmouth water. We will practice topwater and subsurface techniques to catch these excellent fighters.
Lunch will be provided boatside and camp will conclude at the end of this float.
